A little more clarity
Common questions.
Clear answers to help you choose your next step.
Will my first mortgage change?
A second-lien HELOC is separate from your existing first mortgage. You still make your first-mortgage payment and must also meet the HELOC’s payment obligations.
How much could I access?
An 80% LTV ceiling is common for an eligible one-unit primary home. Subtract mortgage payoffs, other liens and costs; lender rules and loan limits may reduce proceeds further.
Is the interest rate fixed?
Rates start at 6.875% APR and depend on your credit profile and combined loan-to-value. We’ll explain how your rate and payments work during the draw and repayment periods before you choose.
How quickly could I access funds?
In as few as 5 days, subject to final approval. Timing depends on the property valuation, title work and how quickly we receive your documents.Draft, pending review
